Synopsis

The overall aim of this study is to develop an app-matching resource for movement-based VR apps to allow clinicians to align client needs with suitable apps. A systematic search will be performed in the Meta store using keywords. The top 15 apps VR movement-based apps (free and paid) will be identified by systematic searching the Meta store. A video recording will be made of one healthy participant playing all levels of each of the 20 VR games. Two raters with backgrounds in physiotherapy or exercise science will map the physical movement capacity required to complete the game levels based on the video recordings. A minimum of 15 healthy participants will also be recruited to provide an assessment of usability and quality of the VR games by completing questionnaires.
